The work

A body of work that lives underwater — sirens, reefs, kelp and deep-sea machines, each drawn in fire on a live-edge slab whose form is part of the composition. Every piece is unique and unrepeatable: the same subject can never be burned twice on the same wood.

Still Becoming

Pyrography on live-edge wood · free-standing

A face surfaces through coral, kelp and reef life, the boundary between woman and reef left deliberately unresolved. The carved live edge is part of the drawing — the composition follows the wood’s own silhouette.
